The Honours College Student Association Mentorship Camp 2025 successfully wrapped up a weekend of leadership training and team bonding at the Hengqin Team Building Base on September 6-7, 2025, marking a crucial step in the recruitment process for the next batch of the Honours College Student Association (HCSA).

This annual camp brought enthusiastic students together who were eager to explore leadership opportunities and take their first steps toward active involvement as future members of the HCSA. The camp serves not only as a mentorship platform but also as a recruitment gateway: all participants automatically became candidates for the upcoming HCSA Election, scheduled to take place in early November 2025.

The camp’s core activities mainly focused on leadership development through a series of engaging team-building exercises. These activities were carefully designed to challenge participants’ problem-solving abilities, foster communication, and encourage collaboration, which are essential skills for becoming a future leader.

Current HCSA members also played a vital role in the camp, sharing their personal experiences and insights about being a current part of the HCSA. This offered valuable guidance and gave participants a clearer understanding of the responsibilities and rewards that come with being part of the HCSA. As the camp came to an end, participants left not only with new friends and memories but also with new insights into leadership and collaboration skills.
