There was no little joy when the Honours College (HC) of the University received a delegation of nine students from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), led by Dr. Stephanie SANDERS-SMITH, Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education on January 11, 2016.
To break the ice, students of the Honours College organized an ice-breaking game with the UIUC students to facilitate bonding and to help increase familiarity. To satiate the curiosity of the students from the other side of the world, the students spent some time introducing this tiny city of Macau, a small gem full of history and rich in culture.
The visit also allowed the delegation a chance to know more about the Honours College during the visit. The HC students also took the opportunity to make new friends in advance before their exchange abroad in UIUC, and what better way to bond and leave beautiful memories of the visit than taking a nice selfie?
