As we come to the end of 2024, the Honours College Student Association (HCSA) held the annual election to allow Honours College students to vote for their representatives for the 2024/2025 batch. The event occurred on November 9th in the Multifunction Room of the Honours College. In a warm welcome, the sitting President of the HCSA, Ms. Jasmine DENG, congratulated the candidates for stepping up and taking leadership roles among HCers.
This year, students of Honours College elected eleven members of the HCSA, which consists of a President and Vice President, a Secretary General and Vice Secretary General, a Treasurer, a Designer and a Vice Designer, and four members of the Committee Executive. Twenty-five candidates delivered their speeches before approximately one hundred HCers to convince the voters to cast their votes for them.
Elected members of the HCSA for the 2024/2025 batch are as follows:

Vice Designer-elect: Ms. Doris WANG
Committee Executive-elect: Ms. Wandy CHAO, Ms. Swing HE, Ms. Bernice CHEN, Ms. Emily LEI
HCSA is one of its kind among other Student Associations at the University of Macau. It comprises high-calibre students from different faculties to hold activities that reflect the mission and vision statements of the Honours College.
The charming evening ended with a group picture between the newly elected and the sitting members of the HCSA. Again, we would like to extend hearty congratulations and a warm welcome to the new HCSA batch, and we wish them the very best in their tenure! The official turnover ceremony will take place on December 18th evening.
