As the flame tree flowers bloom in full splendor, students bid farewell—it is once again the season of graduation. On May 16, 2025, graduates of the Honours College, along with our professors and alumni, gathered to celebrate the joy of commencement. During the event, the alumni shared their professional experiences and life insights with the graduates, empowering them to stride forward with greater confidence in the face of new challenges ahead, also to promote and recruit new members of HCAA.

In their speeches, Prof. Rose Neng LAI, Dean of the Honours College; Ms. Carol Ka Hang WONG, President of the Honours College Alumni Association (HCAA); and Mr. James Chon Ieng LAW, President of the HCAA General Assembly, expressed their high hopes for the students’ future potential and encourage them to continue to work hard to achieve their goals in life. They firmly believe that the graduates will carry forward the knowledge and spirit cultivated in the Honours College to achieve great success in their endeavors.

Members of the HCSA organized a DIY canva bag workshop for the graduates and alumni on the Gathering. They immersed themselves in the activity, engaging in lively conversations and enjoying the moment together, ending their undergraduate studies. Last but not least, a hearty congratulation on their graduation and wishing the Class of 2025 good luck for the new beginning in life.
