As the academic year draws to a close, April carries special significance for the graduating seniors of the Class of 2026. It is a season for looking back on the years spent at the Honours College and acknowledging the growth that has taken place along the way. As a fitting conclusion to this journey, the Honours Project Symposium for the Class of 2026 brought together students, faculty, and guests to witness the fruits of their years of study and inquiry.

The event was held on April 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the E12 building. Through the symposium, senior Honours College students had the opportunity to showcase the knowledge, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary perspectives they had built up throughout HONR4001, the Honours Project course.

Adding to the occasion, students’ research posters were exhibited in the HC Multifunction Room on the day of the symposium, allowing visitors to engage more closely with the diverse topics explored by this year’s graduating cohort. The display was subsequently extended to the Sky Garden of the University of Macau Library, where the posters remained on view from April 30 to May 8, 2026, inviting the broader university community to discover and appreciate the students’ academic work.

For the Class of 2026, the symposium was far more than a formality—it was a moment to honor the dedication and curiosity that have defined their undergraduate years and to look forward with confidence to what comes next.
