One would hardly imagine a retreat activity to drive out one’s breath. But so it did when, on September 3rd, 2016, the course instructor of the Honours Course Dr. Zenon UDANI led the first retreat of the Class of 2019.
There was hardly any space for drowsiness. After a few ice-breaking games and dances, the class was split into eight groups, each required to complete a gratitude- and kindness-themed video. The videos were filmed, cut, and presented in one short day, and the finished products were displayed before the class.
Though limited by time and resources, the HC Class of 2019 students took advantage of every single occasion to achieve and perfect their work, and this made the team even more tightly knit. There was no better way than to begin their journey with a fresh challenge, and to grow by learning from each other.
