On February 6, 2023, the Briefing on Key Tips in Acing English Test event received huge support and fully-booked application from HC students. To sum up, the Honours College Student Association (HCSA) is more than willing to help and support students in Honours College to thrive academically and also in other aspects.
The event mainly aims to provide an overview of the IELTS examination by our honourable guest speaker Ms. Ceci KUAN, who has plentiful experience teaching in universities in the UK and Macau, as a briefing for HC students who are planning to take this public exam in the coming months. Not only will it provide tips, methods, and techniques, but it will also include experienced students, Esabella and Jimmy, who had received results with flying colours before to share with HCers their ways of preparation before the exam. On the other hand, the second purpose is to locate students who need academic assistance and then refer them directly to the HC Tutor Programme, which is initiated by the HC senior students, to receive further guidance for other academic assistance.
